G4TV and the San Diego Comic Con
It is somewhat aggravating how useful G4TV is getting these days with their awesome E3 and Comic Con coverage. They ruined my favorite network (Tech TV), but they seem to get better all the time.

Have you heard anything about the Marvel Universe Civil War series? It's apparently quite awesome. The head of Marvel assures us that this will not turn out to be someone's dream or an alternate reality. Everything that is happening will be permanent. I may have to see about getting caught up on that. Apparently stores are having a hard time keeping them in stock.

I only saw a couple of very short images from Spiderman 3 but it looks sweet. Parker's costume is pretty good.

In the comic, Parker has given up on his secret identity and doesn't wear the mask anymore. The fans are split over it. I hear that Thor died but apparently is either already back or is coming back soon. I would imagine it has something to do with him being a God!

The head of Marvel is really excited about the Iron Man movie. He actually thinks it will be better than Spiderman.

They are making a Ghost Rider movie with Nicholas Cage as the dead guy what rides. I never read that one and don't know much about the character. Hopefully it won't suck.

NBC's new show, Heroes, looks great. I've been chomping at the bit waiting for it to finally get here. The lead producer says it's going to be just how it looks in the commercials, more Unbreakable than X-men. Ordinary people just wake up all over the world with amazing new abilities. I wonder if they will have a girl that can actually eat whatever she wants and never get fat.. I wouldn't mind having that power myself.

They interviewed Mr. Samuel L. Jackson. Not about him making his own brand of beer (Good Motherf#$%ing beer) from that Chappelle show skit. But his new movie we have been waiting more than a year for, Snakes, On A Plane! It looks beyond campy but I must see it anyway.

They also had some coverage about that one movie. Ya know. That one about the cars and planes and whatnot that turn into robots and fight each other. What do they call them? TRANSFORMERS! I didn't see that coverage, but I hope to get it either from their web site or in a re-run.
